Document archive: rights and removal requests

TintCenter's document archive keeps the spec sheets, brochures, warranties, test reports and press releases that window film makers have published, so installers, buyers and researchers can see what a film's specs were at the time it was sold.

Where the documents come from

  • Each document was published by its maker, on the maker's own website or in print, and was collected from that website or from Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) captures of it.
  • Every document is credited to its maker and shown with its source and the date it was captured or published. We don't edit documents; when a maker reissues one, every edition is kept.

Who owns them

The documents, and the names and logos in them, belong to their makers. TintCenter doesn't claim any rights in them and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the makers, except as an authorized online dealer for the brands we sell. We keep them as a public reference, without charge and without advertising alongside them.

Removal requests

If you hold the rights to a document in the archive and want it removed or replaced with a newer edition, email research@tintcenter.com with:

  1. the page address of the document (or its title and maker);
  2. your name, company and how you're connected to the rights holder;
  3. what you'd like us to do: remove it, replace it with a newer edition, or add a note.

We reply within 5 business days. While we look into a request, we take the document offline if the request shows the document is yours.

Corrections

If a document is credited to the wrong maker, dated wrongly or filed under the wrong film, email research@tintcenter.com and we'll fix it.
