From our catalog notes (2008–2013): One of the most popular Specialty series films is Black Out, a thin window film designed to keep 100% of the light from passing through the glass. TintCenter provides the best quality black out film on the market today, with a polished black appearance from the exterior of the glass.

Blackout film blocks light completely, for privacy or to darken a room. Compare the types of window film.
